CHAZ,

How can I get a replacement dropper for my 1 oz. oils.  I have three bottles of this that the rubber on the dropper has deteriorated and separated, making the dropper unusable!  I have purchased thousands of dollars old WEN products over the years for myself and my family, including the gallons of shampoo/conditioner and this is the first time I have been unhappy.  I have contacted both WEN directly (they were very unwilling to assist me) and QVC (they couldn't help me).  Considering what these items cost, I would appreciate some assistance.

Thank You

Pam Cole

@GrandmaPam  Sorry Pam.  I was going to say contact Chaz Dean CS but you have already done so.

Chaz doesn't read the forums (though Cooper does). I would recommend calling the number of the back of the bottle and asking them. Chaz always tells us to call that number of we have any questions.

I know you probably don't want to buy anything more, but amazon sells empty one-ounce amber glass dropper bottles really cheap. I paid around $6 for a set of six bottles and the seller shipped them to me for free.Woman Happy

It's easier to just buy a set of 6 - 1/2 oz amber dropper bottles for $5.50 or a set of 6 - 1 oz amber dropper bottles for $6 + free shipping on Ebay. That way you can put the oils that come in the small plastic bottles in a glass bottle. They will last longer.

I use the 1 oz bottles when I make beard oil for DH.

Have never used Wen but my friend does and she loves it. I've read about these types of complaints before and I wonder...

   Whatever that ingredient is in the product that is deteriorating the rubber on the dropper then, what may it be doing to your hair or skin? With this knowledge, I would not purchase.

@Tabbycat It's the essential oils In Wen that deteriorate the rubber. Essential oils I have bought have a plastic orifice instead of in a dropper type bottle. Since Wen oils are used on the hair/scalp the orifice is not pratical. It's only been a problem in the small plastic Wen bottles not the large glass dropper amber bottles.

I just received the large glass dropper amber bottle and unfortunately I will be returning it tomorrow.  The rubber has deteriorated so much that oil was all over the inside of the package.

@Tabbycat

Any oil will break down rubber.  That's why it is advised to not use oil-based lubricants with contraceptive devices that are made of rubber, for example.
