Is there any way to save the little pots of eyeliner that dry out so quickly, like iT Liner Love and Smashbox Jet set?

Re: Dried Out Eyeliner help?

A few times I mixed in a tiny drop of moisture eye drops. Not the allergy kind; the type of over the counter eyedrops for moisture only sometimes referred to as artificial tears. Worked for me.

Thanks, I'll have to try that.  I really like the pots, but they dry out so quickly and I don't wear eye makeup but about once a week.

Re: Dried Out Eyeliner help?

i use anastasia dip brow, which is cream product in a jar, and it does tend to dry out pretty quickly.  what i do is to add a drop or two of oil (like argon or marula ... or whatever i have on hand)  it works wonders! after i add a drop or two, i just roll the container a little and keep it sealed tight overnight and by the next morning, i have great product again.

Re: Dried Out Eyeliner help?

I have the Bobbie Brown gel eyeliner in the little pot - believe it, I have put it into my microwave oven on low power for no more than 2 minutes.  I have an older gas stove and sometimes I put the pot over the pilot light.  I know it is strange.

Re: Dried Out Eyeliner help?

Some times just stirring the pot helps them. The ones with shimmer in them seem to get dry the quickest, but I don't think I have every added anything. Stir them & pat them back down.

Re: Dried Out Eyeliner help?

I used gel pot liners for a really long time and finally gave up on trying to revive them. There are several youtube videos explaining how to revive them and frankly it is just too much hassleSmiley Frustrated. I end up buying new.

Re: Dried Out Eyeliner help?

The Clinique cream eyeliner is amazing.  It never dries out.  The only problem is that they only offer black. I use BB cream liner too when I want to use other colors, and that dries out before I'm even a quarter into the pot.  Clinique is by far the best that I've tried.

Good luck with yours.
