That's quite an accomplishment, @SilleeMee. Good for you. I hope HSN doesn't drop him without cause. I never bought any of his products, but I always liked him because he never "classed up" his Boston accent even when he became a wealthy plastic surgeon. He talks like I talk and doesn't put on airs. I detest people who become phonies and think they're too good for their old neighborhood. Certainly, some need to lose their accents because they go into broadcasting or such, and I understand that.

My first college roommate was from the Bronx. Your post reminds me of when she tried to imitate my accent. She just sounded like a girl from the Bronx no matter how she tried.

I grew up in lynn and Dr. Sevivor was well known in the whole area , I never went to him because I was never interested in plastic surgery but I never heard a abad word about him , I know he did surgeries on people who were in accidents and had burns ,nt just for people who wanted to pretty themselves up . I feel bad for him , He is human just like the rest of us , I hope he gets the help he needs i REALLY THINK THAT PUTTING THAT ARTICLE ON HERE WAS unnecesary and does not reflect what he is really like , Yes it is a fall from grace, but there but for the grace of god go I , people of all walks of life and all classes wrestle with addiction , It is aproblem that is widesread and doesn't mean he is selling a bad product or is an entirely dispicable person.

The article is just the facts and does not say anything despicable about him but the truth- that he was caught buying crack- and most people on this thread haven't said anything despicable about him except that they hope he gets the help he needs.. You can't bury your head in the sand to the facts. Him buying crack IS what he is really like right now, whether you knew he was a drug addict or not. This is why so many drug addicts don't get the help they need- too many enablers out there that want to ignore the fact they the person has a problem and want to remember them the way they think they knew them or think they are.

It's shocking to hear stuff like this, especially about someone as old as he. You would think they'd get it together by now. Being a professional doesn't surprise me at all...they have the money for it, like all the celebrities we hear over dose. I often wonder about some vendors who appear on shopping channels and do several hours in a row, for 3-4 days, round the clock. Some how, they still maintain tremendous energy, fast talking, and seemingly hyper. All with very little sleep...seems in-human to me...JMO.

I am aware that the doc was buying crack , I am not an enabler , I do know about drug addiction and aaalcoholism , As a matter of fct there are people in my own family who have kicked alcohol and drugs [heroin] and there drug counselors in my family These folks went on to lead very productive lives , All I am saying is this doctors reputation precedes him and he had a long career that was productive and he helped many pwople , One incident does not make him a complete failure . Yes he should pay for his mistake and go for treatment . Drug addiction is an illness that can be treated successfully , He fell and stumbled" so to speak: but will be able to recover his name and reputation if he tries.

Hmmmmm, I bought his Wrinkle and Face Lift from HSN. The serum was lovely, although no miracle worker it hydrates very nicely. The FaceLift was a return: absolutely no difference to me.
I guess Servino was probably on crack when he sold it to me.... Maybe on crack when he formulated what he sells. I'm sure HSN will not have him back again.
