mine is on wait-list--but I think now that I hear u say that there is a bad smell & that it could have gone bad--I will refrigerate mine..thanks for the heads up!

Mine has a slight smell, but I am not sensitive to that so it's fine with me. As with most products I use, once applied the smell disappears.
