I am usually not so catty, but I was watching FNB last night and looked at Doris Dalton selling her concealer. Then they did a closeup of Lisa. They both looked like frozen-faced dolls! Am I wrong? I don't understand why women think that this is a good thing. I'm 57 and could definitely use some help in the wrinkle department, but yikes! It kind of freaked me out and turned me totally off to Doris' concealer.
I think Lisa is a wonderful host and I hope she makes lots of money because she deserves it, but looking at her up close with the made-up doll face made me sad for her. I guess they have to do this because they think that is the only way they can continue to sell products?
The other thing that really bugged me about FNB (and it relates to the other makeup post about Maria and older women) is that the Tarte models, for instance, were all in their early 20's. I'm not about to buy that and line my eyes underneath and for goodness' sake, can we please have at least one model over 40 to show us what this stuff looks like? I shouldn't go down this road, though, because we did have a different thread addressing it. I just couldn't help bringing it up again.
