Does Anyone Subscribe To Ipsy

A young girl in her twenties who'm I'm friendly with works at CVS doing the makeup and hair care departments. She told me about Ipsy which she subscribes to and likes. It costs $10 monthly or $110 for the year. Sometimes you have to be on the wait list. Does anyone get this and if you do what do you think? I'm always leery about things like this thinking it's a waste of money.

I love my Ipsy bags. It's like getting a present every month. I never use everything but they make nice gifts. The makeup bags are very useable & also make great gifts. I also had a Birch Box subscription but cancelled that in favor of the Ipsy. Just get it, give yourself a monthly present!

Re: Does Anyone Subscribe To Ipsy

My teenage DD and I have great fun with it. I've been receiving it for about two years. I always let her open it and then we ooh and ahh or giggle and say what were they thinking! It's fun. Some things are not so great and sometimes you come across a great find. I found Elizabeth Mott It's So Big mascara that way. I recommended it here and a few ordered and like it too.

Thanks to both of you for your feedback. Maybe I'll try it ,I can always cancel if I don't like it.

Re: Does Anyone Subscribe To Ipsy

I subscribe and three of my co workers do as well.

This has to be the best sub service out there for the money. Two of my five products this month alone were close to $20. I received a full size Zoya nail polish, pop sugar lip gloss, eyetini eye shadow, nume hair conditioner and a full size blush. To top it off you get a cosmetic bag as well - and they are high quality.

I either gift products that I don't like (those are rare) or the girls and I trade at work. You do a profile and your products are based on the profile.

This is a fantastic subscription and I highly recommend it!

Re: Does Anyone Subscribe To Ipsy

I love my Ipsy subscription. I think attitude is important with these subscriptions. It's a gamble and you have to be completely fine with potentially losing $10 a month. I have enjoyed each one of my shipments, I think I've been getting over a year. Do I love each product? Absolutely not. Are they perfect color matches for me? Not always. But I love this little surprise arriving in my mail box filled with beauty goodies and for me, the $10 which includes shipping, is well worth it. I've discovered great products and I've also discovered what not to buy! That saves me money in the long run. If your personality is about fun, adventure and surprises, this is the best $10 you'll spend each month. If you will be upset that each product every month is not perfect and you will feel cheated about the $10, then skip.

I also subscribe, and I think it's worth a try. I've been with it almost a year, and so far I have no regrets.

I'm in the minority here but I think the stuff is worthless. I've been lucky enough to get my money back selling the stuff on ebay. I was not ipmpressed with anything and canceled.
