No I try to read the reviews they are pretty helpful, but I did miss it on the sheets that I had to return, because they did not have deep pockets and I refuse to iron sheets so they went back and I did order some popcorn that came and it was bad and the honey bells they too were bad.

What I don't like is having to return things I did not order. The problem lies in the packing...never ever had a problem before this year.

I'm not returning more because I'm buying a lot less. However, purchases I do make are usually very well thought out. I don't buy anything online unless I am almost certain that it will work or be for me. Of course there have been some misses along the way, but for the most part I don't need to return anything.

I'm buying less of everything.
With regard to beauty products I'm trying to reach a point where I can have multiples of products, but not excessive extras -- for example 10 different moisturizers and foundations.
In clothing, one thing about being less than 0 is that many things have to be tailored, so before I buy anything I have to think about whether it's alteration worthy; or can be worn without it. That thought process always includes do I really need it or like it that much. The bottom line is that thinking helps me control impulse shopping. Quality also factors in, and you can see some mediocre quality even in the good stores. I confess at one point in time I was one of those impulse shoppers guilty of having clothes in the closet with the tags on them. I'm proud to say those days are over.

I don't return much anymore since I don't buy as much as I used to. I'm really trying to break the habit of shopping on the Q so much. I don't watch the shows much anymore either. Same old stuff and the Quality, Value and Cost isn't there either anymore. Shipping charges are high too.

I am in the same boat -- almost never watch. I have ordered less and less over the years. Almost never get anything beauty because I can find it cheaper with coupons or at the very least free shipping elsewhere. Maybe I purchase an occasional beauty TSV because it is a good value and I can't get it elsewhere. Otherwise I get a few fashion items here and there but also much less than I did in the past. The quality seems to have really declined even in the better lines so I am careful about what I order and wait for reviews.

Yes.......in fact, I just received a cute pair of UltaFine silver love-knot earrings that I just put on and the posts are so short that I'm sure that I'll probably lose one before the end of the weekend.....nice big backs, but that doesn't do you much good when the posts are so short. I'm afraid to return them since I've sent back several things this fall/winter (not a ton, but maybe 5). You can't count on the quality anymore. I purchased quite a bit this year from the Q including a TV and laptop....a few items of clothing including a coat and those items have been fine......just don't want "the dreaded letter".
