When I wore the original Tova, I was stopped all the time and complimented on the fragrance - men and women! I often get nice remarks on my clothing too. I also offer compliments to strangers...sometimes fragrance, sometimes clothing and often on cute babies!!!

I have done it many times. I'm from the South, and I'm also very outgoing...so put those two together...I'll strike up a conversation at the drop of a hat! I've had people compliment me as well...on my clothing, my handbag, perfume, and yes, even on my makeup...didn't offend me at all! Once a salesperson in Sephora said my eyes were so pretty and that the eyecolor I was wearing really made the gold tones in my eyes sparkle; she even asked what color it was. I think complimenting people (if it's genuine) makes people smile!

Yes, I've done that for as long as I can remember.

I also give compliments to people. Sometimes I'm too shy to do it and sometimes I overcome the shyness. I always at least smile at people and try to be friendly. I have also gotten compliments from other people that I don't know many times. It's nice!

Yes, I do. I know how good it make me feel, so I like to comment if I see something nice. I just recently complimented a woman on her jewelry. I also almost always strike up a conversation with someone who has a dog with them.

I get complimented a lot on my hair and it always makes me feel great.

...and I DO use WEN {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

All the time. And I receive them from strangers too. People love compliments. I used to be more introverted, but lately I feel like if I notice something complimentary about a person, why not let them know? I always appreciate a nice comment.

Yes! Here in the Deep South it's just a natural thing. At least for me. I don't feel awkward at all. It's makes others feel good. We wave to strangers driving down the road, open doors for others first, etc. Complimenting others, for me, is just second nature.

Since for the last 5 1/2 years (& counting) I've been very rarely out of my home, I'm so thankful that my self esteem doesn't require compliments as validation. Unlike may on this forum, unfortunately.

But even when my life was more typical, an unexpected compliment was always much appreciated, as it's a kind thing for someone to wish to pay you one.

I've even written down notes re: whatever someone commented on, so that they could enjoy the fragrance or whatever for themselves. 8)

YES! If I see someone wearing something particularly lovely, I may say, "you look lovely" or "Your scarf is lovely" etc...

Yes, I stop people and compliment them all the time on all different things. Yesterday at walmart I told a lady she the one of the most beautiful babies I'd seen. The baby was gorgeous. The mom just beamed.

I compliment people all the time on various things including perfumes, clothes, shoes and babies. LOL
