Yes @gtx I don't know how I finally thought about it about 5 years ago. My skin has gotten so sensitive. Now I'm allergic to apricots.
Cortisone cream to the rescue. Plus we save money, purchase a better product and our closet smells divine, no itching.
P.S. ankle spray is a great idea @gtx , scent travels up. Thanks!

In my opinion is that it is you are wearing just the right amount which is not too overwhelming and the scent can only be enjoyed getting too close to you should you not want it. Ahhh....for you.
(I don't want to interrupt the mood I've got going here but my Mom entered a Doctors office one day and he said "please don't wear any perfume scents here. HA - She stopped immediately when visiting Doctors. I think it was Opium she liked? It was heavy indeed.
I liked Opium. I think why this big, heavy Oriental scent did so well is that it was also the era where everything we wore had big shoulder pads! lol ![]()

. Yes indeed.
However, I think Opium sort of died out, but our Shalimar lives on.
I tried to post a few pictures of Shalimar Gardens in India. It is real but I don't think the fable is. It is beautiful. But I cannot load it. The story is about the prince who is madly in love and makes this scent up for the love of his life.
Darn I can't upload the Shalimar Gardens, sorry. ![]()

The Shalamar Gardens are in Lahore Pakistan, which you can see on You tube. It was the Prince who fell in love with a woman and the scent was born. Unfortunately she passed away, the scent made for her.
It is now being restored and a wonderful place for people to visit
in Lehore.

Now some might laugh as I can't stand this scent now. I was about 14 and my Mom gave me my first french parfum. it was "called "L'air du temps" by Nina Ricci.
Anyone remember this? I did wear it until 18 until I found Shalimar.
Now, I can't stand that one. so Floral, yikes.lol. ugh.
