Soeul cleansing balm is my favorite. Removes makeup ..doesn’t irritate my eyes...rinses without leaving any oil behind.

  A little bit goes a long way . ( HSN )

I've used various cleansing balms. They removed face makeup but not eye makeup. A second different cleanser was needed, followed by a toner to remove final traces. Too much.

Then I discovered microfiber cleansing cloths. Game changer. Takes off everything including eye makeup with just water.
If I run a pad saturated with toner over my face, absolutely no traces of makeup remain.

@smoochy   I agree about too many steps. I do a first and second cleanse and with most balms, the directions say to keep away from eyes. This means an eye makeup remover, too.

I'll stay with an oil cleanser which also removes my eye makeup and a mild foaming cleanser as my second cleanse.

Never used one.  I'm a soap & water gal.   Kiss My Face olive oil soap and exfoliating bath gloves.

It's worked great so far .... I'm not switching.

I don't find it to be any extra steps at all. I have always used an eye makeup remover whatever method I used to wash my face.  And while the cleansing balm will remove my eye makeup and doesn't sting my eyes, I just prefer continuing to use an eye makeup remover first.

Now, for extra steps, there's my evening skincare routine.  Retinol, niacinamde, a serum, an eye crea, and a night cream.  Add to that eyelash growth serum, eyebrow growth serum, and hair serum.  And that doesn't include the stuff I put on my hands.

I have used DHC Deep Cleansing Oil for as long as I can remember. I have dry, mature skin. After reading some of your posts I decided to check out balms. I saw Seoul Cleansing on HSN from the Beauty Spy and the price I decided to buy it. It’s terrific. I highly recommend it.

Re: Do You Like Cleansing Balms

@smoochy   I'm still using Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Oil.  It leaves my skin soft and moisturized and days when I don't wear makeup, it's the only remover I need at night.

It may cost more than other oil cleansers, but I wait for a sale (Nordstrom's Aniiv. sale, Belk's just had it for 25% off) and I stock up. It has a pleasant light lavender fragrance and removes my eye makeup, too. No separate remover needed.

Re: Do You Like Cleansing Balms

@Jordan2

Morning !  I do enjoy cleansing balms . I still have oliy acne prone skin , so a complete cleansing in the evening  is extremely important . I prefer balms that change to a milky cleanser with water . I do a double cleanse . Currently I am using the Natrium purple  ginseng balm . It is wonderful . I have used ELF, Heimish, Japanfusion(Beauty Pie ) . I feel they all perform equally well. I havent found one that out performs the other ,so usually I will try a new each time I finish one . I finish my cleanse with either Biossance gentle cleanser or Peach and Lily Power calm gel cleanser .
