These are the words of my dermatologist. I was having a lot of itchin andg irritation in my eyes on the days I wore make-up. She said it was my eye shadow. Not an eye shadow wearer herself, she said that information now available shows that less expensive eye shadow has more microscopic flaking and a greater amount of chemicals used to achieve pigment. She said shimers and frosts were among the worst offenders. I asked her if she had any recommendations and she said she had heard from some of her patients that Christian Dior was very good, but not being an eye shadow wearer, she couldn't confidently recommend any specifics.
Well, that helped a heap! I can not afford major $$$ on eye shadow, but I am willing to pay a bit more if I know I'm getting a quality product that was not hurting my eyes.
So, has anyone else noticed eye irritation with lower end eye shadow or have any suggestions for good matte eye shadows?
