Do I really need a neck cream ? Final answer !!

I've gotten tons of mixed messages about the topic.Really,why can't I just use what ever works for my facial routine on my neck ? I've even heard of high quality body creams being brought all the way up the neck ! I don't have any problems in that area yet but,YOU KNOW I DON"T WANT THAT ,LOL!!!! OK! But seriously,I'm confused.
