I've bought many Skinn products over the years and still use a few of them. But one thing I noticed is that he uses the same models and always does one side of their face. In all the years he's used the same models, I really have not seen any improvement in their skin tone & firmness. Shouldn't one expect to see some improvement after all this time? To me that means either the effect is temporary at best or there is no improvement at all, it's the silicones coating the skin making it look smoother. I'm still using his Dermappeal and 6X lip treatment but I've moved away from his skin care treatments as his Stem Regen eye cream was so thick it caused millia at the top of my brow bone which has never happened with any other eye cream before - although it did seem to have a bit of a lift effect - and he's now including dimethicone in many of his serums and creams which my skin cannot tolerate as it causes raised red bumps for me. So as I finish up his products, I'm looking for new brands that do not include dimethicone for one.

QVC lost a lot of my posts too!

What it this bash Dimitri week or what?

@BlingQueen022  When a vendor is on selling his goods as much as Dimitri is... days at a time, hours at a time and several Today's Top values sometimes in a day.... you begin to really disect what he says, and listen to his sales speech... He does say somethings that make no sense even though he touts being such a renowned skin expert and hair specialist.... I think that Dimitri has gotten a big head.. and a bit greedy. It can happen to anyone even though they start out with a good heart and a want to help others..

June222 -  You don't like him yet you watch him so much that you sit there and disect his words?  Don't you have anything better to do?  I get the feeling that you just have a chip on your shoulder and hold grudges toward certain people and/or products, in general.  You've made unkind remarks about Christie Brinkley, David Hasslehoff, Dimitri James, Lori Goldstein, Tyra Banks...and probably more.  Doesn't that get exhausting?

Let me start off by saying that I like Dimitri and most of his products. That said, I no longer believe any of his demos or before and after pics. Lipstick before and afters where if you look carefully, the dry parched lips in the before have painted or made up white groves or stripes to appear as severely dry chapped lips. Under eye products where the befores show under eye areas that have purple and red make up, or brown and yellow. Forehead lines that look to me as if painted on. That's just 3 examples. Look closely and I think you may see what I mean.

It's not just Dimitri - they ALL do it.  That's how they sell sell sell.  I do believe his hand on one side is better - for years he has put the product only on one hand - it's bound to look better.

Why do we have to bash Dimitri to point out his suspect selling practices?  You're not accusing him of insulting our intelligence when he does.  Everyone can see how he holds his treated hand in a curve but his untreated hand in a backwards curve.  When you hold both of your hands like this, they will look noticeable different too.  What we're saying is, when your products work like you say they do, there's no need for the trickery.

Look again at those hand cream episodes one hand (the treated one) is held taut (or downward whatever) the other one (un-treated is held normally or upward) try it, you'll also see the difference

After hearing him claim that he's never had any work done on his face, I don't even bother listening to his presentations. I mean please, it's so obvious he has had work done and plenty of it.

It actually is not that hard to notice, over time, when someone constantly posts negative feedback, put downs, diatribes and has a generally bad attitude...those types of people show themselves for who they really are and cannot hide behind their keyboard or disguise their true self...most people who dislike something tend to avoid that thing and not continually come back with longer, more elaborate posts meant to bring hurt feelings and discourse to those who may like a vendor or product...you may be best off staying in those topics of those vendors/product lines you love/like because by all appearances, you hate Dimitri.his products and we all know it...Enough said...
