Re: Did customer input have anything to do with who won the awards last night?

That's funny -- I've only watched it once before and it seemed to me like so many of the winners last night were the ones who won last year.

I voted because I wanted to get in my votes for Tatcha -- didn't vote on the products I don't use (for obvious reasons).

I think they're probably legit, but who knows how many vote. Not sure if you can vote multiple times, either.

Ultimately, it's not a game changer for me. I'm already aware of the really popular products from looking at the reviews and from here on the board, so there were no "discoveries" for me.

I don't think so at all.

I saw a little last night while channel surfing. I thought it looked phoney and cheesy.

IMO The ""Host Picks"" are phoney but not as cheesy. (QVC & HSN both do them)

I thought it was beyond tacky not to perhaps discount all the "winners."

Who cares about these awards, or why bother "voting" when there is no payoff!

Every "winning" product should have been offered at special pricing for the show.

Actually that is one of the reasons I didn't vote. Also as another poster said if they want the real vote they would not nominate beauty items but let the voters choose.

NO - I said on another thread that when I first started watching QVC I thought they were real. I just can't believe that now. There were no products from Mally, Laura Geller, Tarte (?) Doesn't Mally always have her award with her when she presents her mascara? Or maybe it's Laura Geller - I know one of them does. It's kind of a "slap in the face" to them.

I, too, wish they would let us nominate beauty products, then take the top 5. But could we trust that to happen? {#emotions_dlg.lol}

I don't think so to be honest
