Someone mentioned this in a thread about cosmetic surgery.

I don't even remember her having cosmetic surgery. I do remember Pat having had it, came back to work and looked awful, then took off again to either recuperate further or have the first job fixed.

Kathy wrote about her face lift in her book years ago. Obviously she has had more work done since then.

I have her book, which actually was a good quick, fast read. It was entertaining, and in her usual self effacing , humorous style. She is quite a lady. I recall about her face lift, it was a nose job. That's all. This was way back when, as it was Before she started working at QVC, and she was one of the first Hosts. She most likely has had a couple refreshers since. She looks natural and fabulous.

I think the nose job had to be corrected, and she learned a lot from the experience. If you find early photos of her (in her early 20's) you will see her nose was wider, and she had a bump at bridge. She said she didn't ask a lot of questions or research much. She had breathing difficulties. She was also shocked at the first turn out. Without reading the book again (and finding it, that is all I remember.

This was never confirmed. It was reported she was recuperating from a car accident.

I wonder if she said old she when she had nose done, I have many Jewish friends who got their nose fixed when they were 16. I always thought Kathy was a pretty woman.

Was it necessary to reference your ""Jewish"" friends when discussing Kathy having her nose done ..... :-(

That's right; I'd forgotten about the car accident story that resulted in a new face.
