Went in for a consultation regarding the above topic and am considering doing a series of five. They say that some see results after one or two visits, but I am going to intend to do a series if I do it. They say once a week for four in a row, then once monthly for maintenance. Anyone ever do this style of microderm? If so, how did it turn out for you?
I am in my 40s with hearty, but fair skin that is very acne-prone (unless I eat completely clean and sugar-free). In the past, dermatologists have mentioned my skin turns over slower than average, which I can thank my dad for. I've used Retin-A ever since I was 16 and fighting acne then too. I was off it for 4 yrs when on oral contrac. and that kept it somewhat clear - but diet played a role then too.
Anyway....if anyone has any personal experience with it, would love to hear about it! Of course there's always one who has to say you don't need to do that - but I'm not asking if I need to. Just to be clear on that.
