I'm going to visit my dermatologist in a few days. I haven't been to see her in a couple of years, before I was pregnant. I have always been super oily and I truly believe it is hormonal. I'm on BC (a particular one because of my hormonal migraines) but it is not helping as much with the oil control. In the past, the derm has tried minocycline, doxycycline, differin, benzyol peroxide and other things I can't remember. NOthing has helped.

I had to go to the regular doctor a week ago after my sinuses and he gave me a script for Retin A to help dry it up.

Do you have any suggestions of how to explain to her/talk to her/whatever that I think my problem is hormonal? Or is there anything that can be added to help since I am already on BC and two thyroid meds?

I just don't want to waste her time or mine. I do have a list of my face products (cleansers, treatments and such).

I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks so much, as always!
