I have a dry, grayish, thick nickel-sized spot on one elbow and the dermatologist offered to write a prescription for Urea if i chose not to use any over the counter products for it.
I declined the script at my drugstore as it was $127.
Does anyone have any recommendations for over the counter creams with urea in them? I've looked at a few but the reviews weren't great.
Thanks so much!

Isomers Nutri Gym Toning Body Cream contains Urea, but to be honest with you, I think Urea is not touted as a quality ingredient in skin care, did you research it? You may be better off with shea butter.

@cindyNC many foot creams to help with calluses have Urea in them. I look for that ingredient when I buy a foot cream.

Yes, Urea is found in many foot creams, and the potency is probably higher in them than in a body cream.

@Shelbelle My husband needs lotion/cream with urea in it as well for his hands & feet from chemo treatments. His Dr gave him a 'script for urea as well but the pharmacy could not get the product for him.
We stood in the cvs aisle with hand/feet creams and just started reading labels. There are actually a few out there that have urea in them - ceraVe and O'keefe's he uses. We find that products of the like for diabetics contains urea so don't let the label surprise you. He also uses cbd oil and cream on occasion, these work too to keep hands/feet lubed and soft.
His Drs also talk a lot about using vaseline at night on both hands & feet with gloves & socks through the night. This works really good.
The trick is to keep steadfast with whatever you do.

Most Rx urea creams contain 40% urea in them so look for an OTC cream with the same.

AmLactin has 40% urea in it and I've used it for the bumps on my arm. (Keratosis Pilarus)
It's in drugstores and Walmart.

I mix Ultra Repair Cream with baking soda to use on my heels and foot calluses - seems to work as well as anything else I have tried.
