@rms1954 $600 may be the cost for one needle of juvaderm.  However, to get real improvement in an area one will rarely do it...unless the top lip is all you're having done.

They price it this way to make it sound cheaper.  When you get in there it's usually much more than one syringe will cover.

They say it can last up to two years.  When I got my upper lip done once it lasted about a year.  The more you move the area that's being treated, the faster it goes away.

Mine lasts about a year. I get two syringes; the price goes down after the first syringe.

I had Juvederm for lines around my mouth. She used one syringe and it has lasted years. It was one and done for me. It lasted that long. I do think that $600.00 is a fair price. I paid $450.00 years ago. Prices on everything went up. Go for it!

The price varies depending on your area.

Yes if they want 600 per syringe it's a very fair price.  It's less than where I live.  I would suggest using RHA instead of juvederm, restalyne, etc.  RHA has been out for about 2 years now.   It is a different formulation which allows for more facial movement and it last's longer than the others.  I believe in most states it's about 100.00 more per syringe.  Not much swelling afterward after either so you can get a better idea of what you will look like.

Another poster was correct that when you go in it's very rare to only need 1 syringe.  That is a fact unless you want to just tweak one small area which is not much.  Surprise, surprise, lol.  And for those who have forehead lines you will need to add in botox

too.

As far as lasting power it depends on your metabolism.  A factor to consider..  I have a very fast metabolism and unfortunately you can shave off 3 months easily of lasting power.  Slow metabolism will last longer.  RHA from Switzerland lasts the longest.  It's the best.  See if your Doctor has it.  Most do now and they rarely use juvederm and the others  anymore as they love it too.

sorry for all the typo's.  I have a chalazion on my upper eyelid.  What a pain they are!
