I have been using derma peel this way-

Washing my face with whatever cleanser then leaving it on. Then I apply the dermapeel as directed over it without rinsing the cleanser off. 

This works so much better for me and its not overpowering or burning.

If that method works for you stick with it, but it is not the way it was designed to be used, which is on a blank canvas, to mix with a cleanser may not let it do its job 100%, but I always mix a scrub with my cleanser. But never with my microderms

A few years ago--maybe just before or just after Dimitri left shop hq, he told the story about how his sister used to do that very thing--I think she used it as a scrub first but left it on for 10 minutes and how she raved about how great it did for her skin---

@wagirl  I hadnt seen that. I kinda liked using it the way I was cuz it was less overpowering on the skin

I just began using about a month ago. In the morning,  I wet my face in the shower then put Dermapeel on and gently scrub then rinse off.  I could never leave it on for any longer!  It is quite strong.  I do like it and this is the way it works best for me.

What about using the Dermappeal Daily @CherryHugs ?  It's supposed to be less potent than the original Dermappeal.  I can't get over all the 5 star reviews.  I've never tried it, but it must be good !

I loooove this product but wish Dimitri would do something about the verrrry strong menthol scent.  I mostly use it in the shower and find that it actually stings my eyes just be nearing them.  @San Antonio Gal  Thanks for posting the daily version.  I'm gonna check it out.
