Dept. Store Makeovers - Are they worth it?

I have never done this and always wanted to. Tell me, ladies, was this a fun experience? Did you like what you looked like after? Continued to use the applications and/or tips that they used on you afterwards? Or just felt ---- no, no, no, this is totally not me?

I often wondered if I scheduled a makeover and just said, go for it, make me up the way you feel I would look best and what would flatter me, what I end up looking look!!!

I want to try this at least once before I leave this earth!
