Has anyone ordered dentures online?

How would that be possible?

Let me rethink that - I am sure it is possible. But doesn't sound like it would work out well.

Would you make impressions of your existing teeth?

It's old-school tech where you send in your dental impression using that gel stuff. Impressions are being replaced by digital scans at the office. That's much more accurate.

Whoa!

There aren't many "sure things" in life, but I think this would definitely be a complete waste of money.

JMO, of course.

I've never worn dentures, but family members that do tell me that there are adjustments that have to be made after the initial fitting.

I can't imagine how many times a patient would have to ship their dentures back to get a comfortable fit.

This has to be a joke.  Maybe someone will offer do it yourself cataract surgery.  LOL!

I think this would be fraught with risk.  Buy cheap, get cheap.  If I ever needed dentures I would get them from my trusted dentist.
