Re: Demi Moore - makeup free

A very good photo of her.  She's always been a lovely woman.  I have seen photos of her when she has not looked so hot though.  Lighting helps.  Some people are really photogenic, too.  I used to know a woman and truthfully she was very average looking but she looked amazing in photographs!

So are you saying I should be thankful I live in a jungle type/humid area?  I guess my complexion is thankful but the rest of me is not.  I "slap" on 10 products at night and 3-4 for my daytime regimen.  I hope I look 25 Smiley Happy  BTW, I used to be a moisturizer only person and then added a retinol product from Neutrogena.  I've definitely seen a big improvement.  I wish I could see a side by side comparison of 1-2 products a night vs 10/night and 3-4/day.  I use a combination of highend, med and lowend.

OMG .....   TEN products???   Seriously?

When I first read your post I thought you were just making a joke, but maybe not.    I am pretty savvy with the makeup and skin care products out there, but cannot imagine needing TEN PRODUCTS for anyone's night time regimen.    What are you using?

ps...you're more likely to keep a routine if you enjoy it and my evening routine is a very soothing and relaxing time for me.

Demi Moore just posted this make-up free selfie.  Yes, she does have access to the best and it sure shows.

Re: Demi Moore - makeup free

I am fine with my Oil of Olay products that my Great Grandmother, Grandmother and my Mom used.  Good enough for them and great for me.  Demi looks lovely but you can see around her mouth the work she had done recently.  I think this is one of the better photos of her in many many years.

I've heard this argument before...good enough for grandma so it's good enough for me.  And that's fine if that's what you prefer to do, but grandma and great-grandma and even mom didn't have the technology and products that we have access to now.  Just like great-grandma likely drove a horse and carrige or at the very least a car with no AC Smiley Surprised  Great-grandma washed dishes and clothes by hand.  My grandmother lost a thumb on a manual wring type clothes wringer outer thingy.  Great grandma didn't have a microwave. Great-grandma didn't have Walmart grocery pickup!!!  Advances in technology and knowledge help make life better and skin look younger than it's years Smiley Happy  I know, not everything new is better but advances in skincare are.  Just two short years ago all I used was OoO.  The first product I added was Niacinamide.  O-M-Gosh!  That was the first game changer.  I feel like I benefit from every product I'm using right now.  At 62, my complexion looks better than it ever has.
