ETA - I forgot to ask - Do you do any body exfoliation in the shower?  You might consider using a salux cloth and do that first, before any of the topical treatment products.

@JeanLouiseFinch I was looking at these and where do you order it from to make sure it is authentic?

@KCDiva - I just ordered mine from Amazon.  They came in a set of 3 for very little money.  The packaging says "Salux" and "Made in Japan" on it.  I'm assuming they're authentic.  In any case, they do the job for me.

I have a lot of spots and large freckles that make self tanning almost impossible. The skin is fine as far as texture thanks to Skinn Neck Amore but I wish I could self tanner a bit. Nothing but lasers will probably help. But was thinking of the Sales cloth mentioned. Perhaps if I exfoliated really well that would help. I have Skinn Dermapeel I really like. Has anyone found anything that helps with this problem?

Retin-A.

I'm a long term user and have always taken right down neck and dĂ©colletĂ©,

ditto exfoliation with Clarosonic.

Former sun worshiper, I have no spots or blotches.  Thank you to the derm who started me on Retin-A !!!

Don't forget a good SPF too.

I use a time release retinol and a vitamin C serum.

I tried Retin-A on my neck and chest and couldn't tolerate it - redness, itching, burning.  If I could tolerate it, I would use it.  I tried Paula's Choice something and it made my skin red, itchy and burning.  The one I can tolerate is Serious Skin Care time release one on HSN.

I use Timeless Vitamin C serum and bring it down from face to neck and chest.  On my neck I will use a moisturizer.  You could use one designed for the neck, but I think the other products take care of it.  If it's really damaged, may need laser.

Great suggestions from the posters!  I'm looking for what works....hard to find.  Currently I use a salux cloth and gold bond neck firming cream.  Have recently added the Buffet by The Ordinary company.

Thanks everyone for some great ideas! Will try exfoliating and the Gold Bond neck and chest product and have not seen it as of yet. I love their Ultimate Body Powder, talc free and the body lotion. My husband uses it as well.
