Just happened upon something interesting...For some reason on my Instagram there was a video post by one of QVC's program host's daughter talking about all these great products she had found and uses, along with demonstrating how and where to apply, etc. What I found interesting was that none of the makeup products, at least to my knowledge are sold on QVC, nor are they the ones this program host on occasion tells us her daughter(s) use and encouraged her to use as well.

My guess is that Instagram purchased marketing data that shows you watch QVC. They fed you programming that includes the host's daughter who is an influencer. She earns money when someone purchases products she recommends. Instagram also earns money in this way. Someone can use a variety of products not just those they recommend on Instagram.

This has been going on for years. Daughter does hauls from beauty stores. She also does make up tutorials with no QVC brands. Not hard to fill in the blanks that not everything a host says is totally factual and lines are blurred.

Jane's daughter is not an employee of QVC. She can advertise any brand of makeup that she wants. We do not know what brands she uses.

Looks like I need to clarify the intent of my post. Obviously I do not care at all what brand daughter uses and realize she has absolutely no reason to feel she needs to or would necessarily want to use brands sold on the Q. My point was that I feel statements made about the daughters introducing host to certain brands QVC does sell and host presents as being ones her daughters wear and love does seem a little unfactual after I happened upon this tutorial post. That's all - let her wear and promote what she wants but also let's hope what we hear in the presentations for the brands sold on the Q are truthful.

She can use products from QVC as well as others stores.
I have a BareMinerals tinted moisturizer from QVC and a Maybelline foundation from the drug store, I use and like both.
There are several cleansers and moisturizers from a variety of brands that I have used and liked.

@just wonder Exactly! No one cares what daughter uses. Just don't say they use this and that when in fact they don't.

How do you know that her daughter doesn't use the QVC brands that Jane says she does? People use all kinds of makeup and skin care.
