Afternoon, ladies. I've been home a while. Had 9a appt. and they move you thru for that post-op check! I have a shiner!!! I guess she gave me a shot to numb me (she said she did steroid, too, but not sure how or where), but it's nasty. Was not expecting that. The eye is STILL dilated and may be for almost another 24 hrs. I can tell it is better; not 100% of course, but better. My glasses Rx is off, of course, and I won't get new one till after I get the 2d one done at the end of Aug. I will go see the other doc next Thurs. for re-check on inflammation and whatever else he decides to do.

Lauramac - prayers for you!! I so hope they got right on your tear in the retina. What an ordeal for you. Please keep us informed.

Cat, men are . . . I'll just say clueless and don't think. Ugh.

Thanks again ladies for the prayers. I might try to rest. I hesitate to take a nap since it makes it even harder to get to sleep at night, but I may succumb!
