Afternoon, ladies. I slept in; DH and DS went to PA so I had the bed (and new sheets) all to myself! I feel so lazy now since I slept late. Doing laundry, of course.

Cat, hope you're not getting sick and your kitty feels better. I put some decorations away today, but I didn't have too much out. Will work on the tree maybe tomorrow. So sad to put it away. Karin, I know what you mean about kids growing up too fast. I have 2 DS's, but if I had a DD I'd really be sad about her growing up and hanging with boys. My DS was always going to his girl friends' house(s), but right now he's "single." Thank goodness. Hellokitty, is this the cute gray kitty that is going to get fixed? I take my kitty in a couple weeks for a check up. Since she's a "senior citizen" the vet says they like to see them every 6 months, but I'm not going to do that unless I think there is something to check. They'll want to do lab work, too, but if her weight is holding, I think I'll say no to that, too. Soooo expensive, though if there was something, we'd pay to have it taken care of. For sure! Hi, fluffy!

Good to see you ladies here. Wish Love would check in. I've seen her posting on FB, but I'm still a little worried. V, too.

Good afternoon ladies. Warm and sunny but very windy today.

Bethee glad you got to sleep in. How nice to have the bed all to yourself once in awhile.

Cat hope you and kitty both feel better.

Hellokitty hope your kitty doesn't get too mad at you for doing what is best for him.

Last winter at the campground we stayed at we ended up feeding two feral cats. I felt bad when we left but they wouldn't let us get near them so I kept telling myself they were okay before and they will be okay after. Now this year the campground we are at was trapping the feral cats. However we started getting visited by a cat. So of course we had to feed her. She is definitely not a feral . She was rubbing against our legs and she jumps right up in my lap when I sit outside. We made a spot for her to sleep outside where she is safe. We have a strictly indoor cat so before we take the other one in we have to get her checked by a vet, but then she will be going with us. No one has been looking for her and since she is here 80% of the time obviously no one is missing her. We think someone just dumped her here.

Hello!! I have been sleeping in while on vacation. DH is having a cyst that ruptured cut out on Monday so I lose the only day I was scheduled to work so far. The doc said he should have someone with him to drive but big, brave DH said it wasn't necessary and you can almost guess what I said to him!!

Awww, that is so sweet of you to take the kitty Sapphire. I am sure she will have a good home. I hope all checks out with her so she can begin a new adventure. If Murphy gets mad because I had him neutered then so be it!

Yes, Bethee, it is the little gray one that is going to the vet. He is a spitfire and I hope that by losing his "boys" he will calm down somewhat. We don't take our cats in for check ups unless something is not right. Our vet probably doesn't like that but I don't go to the doc every six months now that I'm a senior citizen (well, that varies on the restaurant...at some you get the senior deals at 55 and at some 65). I won't be 60 until May so technically I'm still a kid.

Well, have to run. I hope Lovie is ok and will check in soon.

Hi BEauties! Drizzly though kind of warm for winter day. Cold weather and light flurries are on the way.

Bethee, how nice that you got the bed and sheets all to yourself! I know what you mean about vets being so expensive. We always do what we need but blood work every time(especially if there is no change or concern).

Sapphire, how nice that you all have a new furry friend! Hopefully the indoor kitty won't mind a new friend. It does usually take a while but it is so sweet when you find them sleeping beside each other somewhere.

Hellokitty, best wishes for a speedy recovery for DH. I'm sure kitty will be just fine. We had our new kitty's boy surgery the week of Thanksgiving. He was better within 12 hours of coming home. No pain meds to take at home but we did have them give him a shot for pain before leaving the office. Hopefully yours does as well as ours did!
