Hi ladies! I've got a terrible head cold today. I hope it improves because I'm headed to the casinos later today. DD just left for Bermuda. Last night she graduated. We went out to dinner afterwards, then she had a party with friends here. Prayers to everyone that needs them. Enjoy your long weekend!

Hi Ladies! It is a beautiful and sunny day here. The first graders are having their annual bicycle rodeo today, so I am glad that they are having good weather. They ride their bikes or scooters through some (easy) little courses. The fire safety house, fire truck, ambulance and police are there. Health Net the medical helicopter came and landed in the field for the kids to check out!! It's a fun day for 1st graders. DS is in 3rd grade so we didn't have to worry about setting up the courses. ..... LovemyBE -I hope that DD has a wonderful trip and that you feel better. School is out June 11 here. Ellie_Cat-enjoy the summer break. We can't wait! Sapphire -sorry it's raining there. Hopefully it will clear out so that everyone can enjoy their Holiday weekend and cookouts! No big plans here. DD will go to Kings Island tomorrow with school for the day. DS and I are having a special lunch date. DH will be working tomorrow. .....prayers for everyone. Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi everyone. Nothing going on around here as usual. Tomorrow DH may take me to the BE outlet. I really don't need anything. I saw on Mineral Madness that BE is having an on line E/S sale 3 for $28 or $29.

Karin, I haven't been to King's Island (OH) in a long time. I remember when the Beast first opened up I rode that at least 15 times in a row. I didn't think it was scary at all. We don't go to the parks any more. Neither of us like to ride and to me that is the reason to go. Cedar Point (up by Lake Erie) has a zillion coasters and if I were 30-40 years younger I would have a blast.

Hope everyone is doing well. I heard from V and she has had a migraine but seems to be doing better. I hope it's ok to post that. Maybe some of you already know.

Afternoon. Sapphire, it's been sad around here for sure! Thanks for starting the chat.

I had a doc appt yesterday w/the eye doc I first saw @ UVa. He would do the surgery to take out gel from my eye(s) for biopsy. I like him, but he likes to have the wait and see attitude! I have an appt w/my other doc, the uveitis specialist, next Thurs., but he said I prob wouldn't need to go; just go on the 24th of June when I could see them both at the clinic!!!! I told him I was going to keep my next week appt. I worked today as I was at the beach Mon & Tues. Boss is going to Va Beach next week for a seminar from Wed-Fri., so I'll have to find something to do part of the day Wed. and then go in Thurs or Fri. to check mail & messages (and get some hours in!).

Weather here today is really nice but a little breezy. We're going to the vineyard tonight. Had to think of something to take for that (thanks, CostCo). Tomorrow will prob. get together w/family @ Mom's (got a pie @ Costco). Sun. is a picnic at a neighbors and I think I'll just make cookies. I have to find some time to do laundry. Mon. I'm going to do nothing, I hope!
