HAPPY VALENTINES DAY Well we survived the 3 day snow storm! Lost power for 6 hr today but I considered us blessed b/c the county below us are out of power & aren't expected to get it back until late Sunday night. We had a very bad snow storm for the South but so glad to know we are finished with the three day mess! To Bethee & all others getting the storm I'm praying for all of you! Stay safe & warm.

Morning. Happy Valentine's Day!

We did well. As I said, DS used the snow blower for us. And the town does a great job of keeping streets cleared. Might venture out today to see what other areas look like, but won't go far! No school yesterday or today. We're in for another clipper Fri night into Sat. morning. Not sure what that will mean for my aunt coming down for mom's bday surprise. Watching The WC, it says 1-3", but for the "Weather on the 8s" it says 1". Sounds like this clipper is going to turn into another nor'easter for poor NE!

Glad you have power, V. Saw some pix on The WC about huge trees falling over.

Yesterday my computer did something funky and the auto fix said it couldn't fix it. I was so stressed out and upset. Had to do a re-set so lost all MY stuff. Thank goodness we had a back up system. I hope it was up to date; DH is not sure. We had first done a system restore on the computer, but then didn't know how to 'activate' the restored stuff that was shown as a short-cut on the desktop. What a mess. Anway, we used our MyBook Live to get stuff back. Then had to re-load Office and my virus protection. I was up till midnight or so doing that. So, everyone, make sure you have backed up your computer!

Have a good weekend. Prayers.

Hi ladies! Happy Valentines Day. I'm sure no flowers, chocolate or diamonds are coming my way...unless I buy them for myself. My dryer is still dead, my vacuum croaked again, my brake lights & blinkers on my SUV don't work and now my microwave died. Its sunny & warm here, but 3-6 inches coming tomorrow. I wish I was like 9 again. Bethee, glad your computer is OK. Mine croaked. ??I hope the snow doesn't affect your moms surprise party. V, glad you are okay. Hi hello kitty. Have you decided to go out for dinner for Vday?

Good afternoon ladies. Glad everyone survived the storm safely. My DD's and sister sent me pictures, glad I'm not there.

Sunny today and cool. Hoping everyone gets a break from the winter weather.

Bethee, hope everything worked out with your computer.

Love, our microwave died this morning. Don't know if we will replace it. We only plan on keeping this motor home for about a year and a half. Maybe we will just get a small one at WalMart for now. We had to buy a new refrigerator when we first got here in December. I hope you get your dryer and the lights on your suv fixed. They are the most important in my opinion.

Hi V, glad you didn't lose power for too long. Nice to see you posting again.

Hi hellokitty and anyone else who stops in. Stay safe and warm.

Prayers

Love, I don't know if it will work for you, but we unplugged the microwave this morning and didn't plug it in again till supper time and it is working for now. Maybe there's a chip in them and it reset itself. IDK. It's worth a try.

Hi, ladies. Ooof, I'm tired! DH had a meeting early so couldn't plow the, I don't know, 4, 5 inches that came after we plowed and shoveled the 13.5 inches that came before. I used the snow blower on the flat, but our driveway is a fairly steep hill, and I couldn't use the snowblower because it kept trying to get away from me. DH said "start at the bottom of the driveway and work up" which would have worked if I could have gotten the silly thing to the bottom! It warmed up and the snow was slushy so it was melting and slippery under my feet. So, I shoveled the driveway. Seriously, under the covers until spring! My arms, legs and back are sore and tired.

V, I'm so glad you didn't lose power for a long time! Especially with all the stuff you're going through.

Bethee, we're supposed to get that clipper, too, but now they're saying a wintry mix tomorrow morning into afternoon. Ugh. Can we please just have rain so I can get errands done? Please!

Love, what a mess. Maybe Sapphire's microwave solution will work. I know that when my washer went wonky unplugging it reset it. It's going wonky again, so I have to remember to unplug it before I go to bed to see if that will make it straighten up before I do laundry tomorrow. No valentine's between me and DH, either. We may go out tomorrow if the weather isn't bad.

Hi, hellokitty! Hi, Sapphire!

C'mon Spring!!

Blessings!

Thanks sapphire for the suggestion. That was actually my first thought, but it's one of those over the stove combo microwaves so the plug isn't visible unless we take the whole thing down. More bad luck. Right after I posted earlier my tv, Internet & phone went out. Thank god they are back on now. Went out to dinner with my mom. She's going away and my brother didn't realize it & gave her a huge edible arrangement. She gave it to me...love the chocolate covered strawberries! I also hit up Yankee Candle for their $1. Votive & Tart sale. Just checked the weather & we are getting over a foot of snow now! DD has to work. I like everyone home & safe during a storm. Cat, just think of all the exercise you got! My brother plows my driveway, then I do the stairs & walkway.
