Cuticle Remover??

This may sound like a dumb question but I received a bottle of cuticle remover in a Deborah Lippman kit but I really don't know how to use it. Does anyone use this stuff and does it work? Does it remove the cuticle or soften it so you can do it? Like I said, may sound dumb but I have a whole bottle of this stuff and don't know what to do with it. Any help is welcome. {#emotions_dlg.sad}

Some cuticle removers dissolve your cuticles, while other only soften them.
