Re: Customer Choice Beauty Awards

CK was lovely, a bit of a poser isn't she?

I watched what I could but JT was so loud and squealy I had to turn it off. I tried muting but I wanted to hear the joy in the product rep /owners voices and celebrate with them. I just could not take the noise level.

Went back this AM to see what was sold and agree, predictable. Including two products that harmed me.

Wish they would have spent less time and did more of the products.

I don't watch the shows but over the years what I have noticed on this forum is how much complaining there is here about the hosts for various reasons. Why would anyone watch any show if they are so unhappy with it?

It seems many want to watch the show but can’t because of the host. @monicakm

As for why watch it’s the same reason you responded to the post.  It’s human nature. Like an accident you want to look away, but you can’t.

@tends2dogs

"I think it says alot that Mally won for best eyeshadow and just happened to have the TSV for the day.

How embarrassing would it have been if she didn't win? "

They know ahead of time because the representatives are already at the studio.  I doubt the representatives for all the nominees are present.  I wouldn't be suprised that Mally would only do a TSV if she "won" the award for the best eye shadow.

Anyone know why she talks to the ceiling? She does it all the time!

The flying hands are so distracting. I went to bed.

Well, I don't quite see it that way but that's ok.  I just don't understand all the dislike for hosts and their looks I've read about here over the years yet they still watch.

That "Look" can only be done well by the one and only Sophia Loren.

And Sophia always looked like herself.  She never had any of her features altered, even though she was told her nose and mouth were too big.  She may have had a facelift when much older, who knows, but she never looked different.

She was very much herself, and looked very genuine.

People can have whatever procedures they want, that's their business.  But I do tend to think that after a certain number of cosmetic procedures, they all start to have a certain "look", call it plastic, or whatever.  They just start to look a little strange.

That is fine if people want to have procedures done on their faces/bodies but it bothers me when people deny they have had anything done.  Christy Brinkley, for example, denies she had any work done on her face but everyone knows that is not true.

Ok, they're plastic.  I still think they are all pretty women, fake or not.

Re: Customer Choice Beauty Awards

I wish JT would stop trying to act so exuberant all the time. Everything she sells relates to her and her family. I used to like JT a lot but lately she is so repetitive and last night jumping up and down like Mally was too much!! Please for her sake encourage her to calm down and have a little dignity like Mary Beth Roe. This is positively for JT’s own good.
