Hi and thanks cal-gal! Haven't been to TJ's in ages. Been to Nordrstom Rack quite a bit and their Philosophy choices have really dwindled. For the longest time they had a large selection of the same 24oz bottles along with a smattering of other things. Now they are down to a handful of 24oz and haven't done a lot of replenishing. I recently picked up a 6oz Pumpkin Twirl for just under $7. It's ok -- definitely not as good as the Pumpkin one I last had a couple of years ago. Would probably like the Pumpkin Icing better (only saw that on the Q in that set of 16z with Crispy Marshmallow Bars and a Cider Apple I think?) but I'd rather have 6oz than 16oz. Miss those 3 for $15 bottles at Nordstroms.

Hey sueinsf! Good to hear from you! I hope that you are doing well Smile I hear you on the 3 for $15 bottles at Nordstroms - bring 'em back!!! LOL!

I had the set with Pumpkin Twirl last year (Cranberry Twirl and Cinnamon Twirl). My hubby totally loves the Cranberry Twirl shower gel heehee. Yeah, Pumpkin Twirl is not bad, but yeah, it's not my all time fave in the pumpkin arena LOL.

I got that QVC trio you are talking about - the one with CMB, Apple Cider and Pumpkin Icing. The Pumpkin Icing is pretty close to Pumpkin Spice Muffin, but it has a little something else in there that makes its different.

By the way, I was at Marshalls and Nordstrom Rack yesterday and I really saw a great selection! I will be posting what I found shortly.

Re: Current sightings at TJ Maxx

I was surprised to find a Living Grace 2 piece set at TJ Maxx today. Fully wrapped in plastic. $35 for a spray fragrance and body lotion. I snatched that baby up fast.

Now I'm on the prowl for more sets.

Re: Current sightings at TJ Maxx

I saw two different holiday sets with shower gels and matching lip glosses for $25. I think they may be part of that set that was on the other night for $80 something. If you bought two it would only be $50. I got peppermint stick shower gel for $12.99. It came in a box. I saw cranberry body butters, living grace, giving grace, FIL summer, gift set of hand lotions and another gift set with some lipglosses and a lip scrub.

You can "thank" fellow shoppers for that! People just don't care anymore.I have seen customers sampling the beauty products including perfume and buy nothing!!

I have sent 2 emails to TJMaxx through their website asking them to shrink wrap or do something to keep people from opening the beauty products. Every single product is opened so people can smell it and, worse, stick their fingers in the thing.

Both times they responded to my email that they would forward my suggestion.

I recommend anyone who is frustrated by this email TJ Maxx, too.

Maybe they will take the time to do this.

BTW, I was at Red Door last night and my manicurist and I were talking about this exact same thing. We were also talking about the Red Door products we see there and she said she looks for the expiration sticker and they removed it. She said she can tell by the smell that it's expired because the smell dissipates quickly on these products. She said she can tell when she opens a new bottle when it's fresh and when it's not.

TJMaxx will not do a darn thing! When I complained to the employees about customers opening packages they said they were told NOT to speak up because you will upset the customer.Oh brother.

My Marshalls also has had a great selection! I actually ended up buying a Laura Gellar set of face primer and setting spray for $20. I did notice that many of these fragrances and sets are now being sold in my grocery store!!! What's up with that?

Re: Current sightings at TJ Maxx

TJ Maxx is gross when things are opened. I saw a woman open a philosophy lotion once and used it. I think it was mangos and cream, but I said really loud to my DH I was going to buy that until she stuck her fingers in it. {#emotions_dlg.angry}

Va, are you sure the products are opened in the store as opposed to being sent to the store that way?

Get your flu shot...because I didn't.
