New Poster here so I don't know the abbreviations that well
I have been using for 2 months now. Bought it first from Sephora cause I didn't want to wait for it to be shipped to start trying it. Then ordered a bottle thru QVC when I started noticing the difference in my hair. Fell in love with it.
I am now going to order a gallon of it.
The reason for my post is I have used two different scents, Cucumber Aloe & Spring Orange Blossom. I have fair hair & scalp. Not to oily or dry. Is long and thick. I find that I like the Cucumber Aloe better than the Spring Orange Blossom. I find that I can go 2 days between cleanses with Cucumber where as with the Orange I would have to do it everyday it seems.
Anyone else prefer the Cucumber Aloe?

I think you should try the Bamboo Green Tea before committing to a gallon of Cucumber Aloe. Just a hunch.

I have thin/fine hair and an naturally oily scalp (which Wen, especially the TT CC, has helped balance). I generally use TT for my first cleanse, rotating BGT and CA in occasionally. I use CA once in a while for it's clarifying properties (supposedly it has a more astringent cleanse). While some people have found CA drying for their hair, I haven't had that problem (unlike LAV which dries my hair).
Since you're so new to Wen I would caution against purchasing a gallon of a particular formula. This is just my opinion, but I think it's a better idea to work your way through smaller sized bottles of a number of the CCs before you commit to a gallon of any formula. If you wind up not liking it, it's going to take a lot of washing your hair to get through it.
I think a number of people (especially those new to Wen) feel the need to purchase a gallon of a particular CC because they think that the gallons provide the best overall value. And that's just not true.
The Wen TSVs (offered in March/April, August/September, and December) as well as some of the regularly offered QVC Wen discovery kits are quite cost competitive. If you use the added styling products, the TSVs actually are a better value than the gallons.
I've moved up the Wen TSVs going back to December 2009 -- items in TSV kits and prices and the Wen - Cleansing Conditioner Discovery Kits available at QVC threads. They each provide a cost benefit analysis between the TSVs, regularly offered discovery kits, and the gallons.

Welcome KimP!! I started with cucumber aloe (CA) when it first came out many years ago. It helped so much with my oily scalp. It may be that you have enough oil on your scalp that the CA works better for you. I agree with Serena - try using CA on your scalp and Spring Orange Blossom (SOB) on the middle and ends of your hair, especially your second cleanse.
I agree with everyone else - I would hate to see you get a gallon of CA now without having tried the other formulas. For one, your hair will change the more you use WEN because it does normalize your scalp and change your hair. By normalizing your scalp, I mean the essential oils cleanse your scalp and hair without stripping your natural oils so it never becomes over dry, causing your body to compensate by overproducing. CA may always be your go-to formula, but you may find another formula that you find mixes well with it for even better results.
Enjoy watching the shows in June - record if you can, they are all lessons

Hey, wanna buy my unused gallon? I have a spare but I find that Tea Tree does better for cleansing my scalp. Cucumber Aloe is my second fave. I don't like Pomegranate and I found Almond Mint was ok.
So I'm stuck with a spare gallon of Cucumber because my next gallon order is going to be Tea Tree. I guess we all just find ONE that simply works best for our individual type of hair.

You guys are great! I think I am going to hold off on getting a gallon... they come back in December right?
Going to order the summer peach & maybe the bamboo green tea
And will have a bottle of Cucumber on the side so if I do feel like I need a better cleanse I can alternate.
