Good!

And by the way I was teasing, you can call me your enabler....I just don't want to lead you astray or from the gate way products to the big time hard stuff.....and turn you into a full fledged beauty junkie . I don't think I could live with myself if that were to happen!Woman Embarassed

@GingerHead  You're so clever, Gingerhead! Your post made me smile throughout 😁💯! lol I stick to the gateway blushes and glosses here and there, and I keep any beauty junkie potential in check by trying to replicate new looks or colors with makeup that I already have.  Sometimes I'll get a drugstore dupe of a new makeup trend to tide myself over.  I'll treat myself to Benefit Blush, Tarte eyeshadow, salon hair products or fancy lipsticks if I can find them on sale.  There's a lot of temptation out there with makeup though, I'll tell ya! 😅

Am on my last  cream blush from  Dimitri called "Teen".When I started using it ,it became  mine  and my daughter favorite cream blush from HSN then it disappeared and  heard he stopped making it. Went on a hunt was able to find some  on EBay brought whatever seller had was so happy but now becoming a bit sad knowing will have to be looking for a new brand and shade .Wish Dimitri would  rethink and give this senior that "Teen"  glow back.

Talking about drugstore vs Department store products.

I do have Department store products I love and use just because I haven't found any comparable drug store products that look the same to me, like Tarte brown tubing mascara/Thrive Casmetics Tubing mascara, Too Faced Candy Cloud blush, RMS Blushes, etc but for the most part I stick to Drugstore cosmetics because the quality and appearance on my face looks no different than higher priced items and so I feel there's no need to pay double and triple or more the price for something that's basically the same.....why waste money for no reason? ya know?

I'd spend more if I needed to but no reason to, IMO

@GingerHead  I completely agree, Gingerhead 🙂!  Its fun to mix and match drugstore and department store makeup. I use a lot of drugstore makeup and drugstore skincare, but I also have some department store makeup that I bought on sale from Ulta or QVC.  I like Benefit blush, Bare Minerals lipstick and Tarte eyeshadow palettes. I've read great reviews about the mascaras and blushes that you mentioned.  I have an RMS pink colored blush that I bought on sale for my birthday last year- its really pretty and I use it as a blush topper 🙂.

@San Antonio Gal  - yes, a good topic & suggestions 🙌 In a couple of weeks when I have more leisure time I will go to Sephora & ULTA to do some swatches. And I think I will also buy one of the drugstore recommendations.
