So, I had a long talk with a CS yesterday and asked a bunch of questions. When I asked about the Purity formulation changes that took place when the Carlisle group took over, she at first tried to say that no changes happened...it was just the media saying this and that ingredient is not good for you, so people started questioning those ingredients in Purity. When I told her I had spoken with someone and they actually asked the chemist and he/she said there indeed was changes, she then said they were minor.

She said Coty took over right before Thanksgiving. She said Carlisle was just an "investment" company, and they made no real changes. She said she doesn't think Coty will start making changes or at least no time soon. She did imply an addition to the makeup line soon. I know others have said there was something like that going on in the Spring?

She did however say that they listen to the consumers, and if enough people vocalized their desire to change the formulation of Purity they would look into it. I said from "MY" understanding (and I am new to it) that the main ingredient was what was changed and it is the same category, just a different variation.

Anyway...just thought I'd pass on the news that she said no changes to gels will be taking place anytime soon....I know many of us were wondering....
