CosRx Mucin Essence Question

Have a question for those that use the snail mucin essence product.  I have been using it at night after all my other serums and just before my night cream.  Have noticed a definite tackiness to my skin but also my night cream pilling a bit.  Thinking it might not be liking the Perlier Youth serums I'm using or maybe I'm using too much?  I'm open to any ideas that you may have.

Questions - When do you use your essence - morning or night?  At what step in your routine do you use it?  How many pumps do you use?

Thank you!

Re: CosRx Mucin Essence Question

Since I use Tretinoin at night, I use one pump of CosRx Essence contained with a drop or two of Vit C and a drop of Perlier Hylauronic acid in the am.  I apply to face/neck/dec and rub residual on my hands/arms.   Yes, it's a bit tacky but I don't have pilling after letting it dry and then adding a serum and/or cream and always sunscreen.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

@Jk9  - Thank you for responding.  I was thinking that maybe I need to let it dry down at night before adding my night cream.

@JudyL I use my Geek Air little fan to be sure I am dried before adding more products.

I apply 3 pumps of mucin in the AM only just after my VC serum to my face and then repeat that for my neck/dec. Moisturizer goes on last.

ETA-

On the days I wear sunscreen, I skip the mucin and apply the ss instead.  I think it would be too much layering going on with the mucin and ss.

@JudyL  - I use the snail mucin essence at night and I layer a bunch of stuff.  No issues for me.  Whatever I apply to my face, I finish by drawing it down to my neck.  After I cleanse....

1. CosRx  propolis essence (maybe a teaspoon) and the propolis ampoule (a few drops) mixed together - press in

2. Mist with rosewater. Snail Mucin Essence - 3 pumps

3. Lab Direct Power Punch Serum - a few drops

4. Perlier Pearls of Youth - 2-3 pumps

5. Perlier Youth Creator - maybe 1/3 dropper

6.  Mist with rosewater. Moisturizer/Night Cream w/a couple drops of the Skinn Luminous Oil (Manuka)

Later, at bedtime, apply Retin A/Tretinoin

Re: CosRx Mucin Essence Question

@JeanLouiseFinch  - Thanks for your response.  We use similar products.  I use the Propolis essence and ampoule in the AM but the Perlier products I do use at night.  They are the last serums I use right before the mucin essence.  I don't mist with anything though but have heard you and @SilleeMee and @monicakm mention doing that.  My PM routine is - after cleansing - the CosRx Galamytoces or whatever it's called essense, Timeless Matrixyl Synthe 6, Naturium Retinol serum complex, Naturium Niacinamide, the Perlier products, CosRx Snail Mucin, then night cream.

@SilleeMee  - Thank you for responding.  I remember you saying that you skip it on days you use sunscreen.

@Jk9  - Lately I've been thinking of getting a fan.  Looked on Amazon and was overwhelmed with all the choices.  Any suggestions?  I want a rechargeable one not a battery operated one.

Edited to add:  Found one on Amazon!

@JudyL

Get the Geek Aire fan from HSN!  I've had mine for a few years and it's great. This is the one I own, almost this color but mine is a bit more pink than this 'Rose' color. The fan head comes off the handle where you can use the handle as a power bank.
