I'm thinking about buying the Conair Hot Sticks sold online at Walmart and was just wondering if those of you who already own these like them. Are they easy to use, and how well do they curl your hair?
Conair also makes something very similar to the Hot Sticks called You Link & Curl. I've seen this one on their website and online at Target. The main differences seem to be the case that holds them (the Link & Curl is in a red carrying case), the colors of the sticks, and the material the sticks are made from (Link & Curl sticks are made with silicone and the Hot Sticks are made with rubber). Would anyone know which material--rubber or silicone--is better to use? Does it make a difference?
Any info about either of these products would be very much appreciated. I am extremely hair-challenged--have bad hair and have absolutely no talent for doing hair. A bad combination! I'm hoping that even someone like me can manage to use these sticks. Any advice would be welcomed. Thanks!
