What is your happy place?
I'm not talkin' McDonald's unless, of course, that is your (hap-hap) happy place.
My happy place is fleeting and it's early this year.
I've been smelling Russian Olive blossoms for over a week now.
Some people do heroin, I sniff Russian Olives.
The scent fills me with joy.
The tree is invasive and despised, but the blossoms smell like a candy factory.
So tiny, so fragrant. So amazing.

Quarantine gardening offers therapeutic benefits...
Working with your hands in the dirt is very therapeutic and getting some sunshine outside and not being cooped up in the house.
All the vibrant colors and fragrances from the plants can help release stress.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), gardening can get your body moving, especially outdoor gardening. The CDC says moderate to vigorous physical activity can help reduce short term anxiety for adults.
If you keep it up, you may even start sleeping better.
I spent most of yesterday in the yard, digging up foxtails. I now have a sunburn. I'll be heading out there again today...
It's therapeutic.
Be careful out there! The Murder Hornets have arrived! 😳🐝🙈

Last night S/O took the red plastic tote that I referred to up thread out of the trash can. When he put the trash out, he set the tote on top of the lid to the can. Well, don't you know, before the night was over, someone took it.
Goodbye old tote bag, go forth and make someone happy.
Well at least it went to a good home, where it was wanted.👍
And if it isn't wanted, at least it's now cluttering up someone else's house!😄

Apparently you're not one of the ones that are allergic to those "lovely" fragrant blooms...🤧😷

I know!
But if the bees are taken out, they're taking everyone else with them.

It's terrible, but I have to take note of my patients' allergies and sometimes when I see what they're allergic to, my first thought is: H_ll's bells, I'd be suicidal, too!
Of course they're never suicidal because of their allergies, but I would think some of them would be. Fruits, vegetables, peanuts, seafood, bees, cats, dogs -- I couldn't imagine being allergic to my favorite things.
Of course if I were, they probably wouldn't be my favorite things...

Yet another reason to keep everything minimal. Fewer "helpers" needed.
