@FindingMyJoy wrote:I LOVE Christmas music!!! Each year, in early November, I dust off my CD collection and I go on the library's website to see what new music they have and I put in the request to get them. The library is fabulous for trying out new stuff for free.
My favorites =
O Holy Night - Celine Dion or Linda Eder
All I Want for Christmas Is You - Mariah Carey
John Denver and the Muppets - 12 Days of Christmas (seriously! This song cracks me up!)
I recently got Neil Diamond's 2 Christmas CDs from the library. They are good! I recommend giving them a try if you like his voice!
I'm so tolerant during the Christmas season that I can actually listen to that Mariah Carey song. I understand the Neil Diamond thing.
Holly Holy, Shilo... I had this album. (I still have it and it's been in a box of other albums for 20 years. Maybe I should buy a turntable...)

Good luck decluttering your brushes! This is an area that I need to go thru again too. I find that I keep some brushes that should be thrown out - they shed and are poor quality that I got from kits. I forget that they are bad, they go back in makeup bag to collect dust while I use other brushes. I will join you in the brush decluttering this weekend! THanks for the idea!
I gave up makeup brushes because of the maintenance. I was spending too much time washing them with better products than what I was using on my own hair. And they always looked and felt better than my hair! I switched to my fingers to apply CC cream and Q-tips to apply eye shadow. I do still use the LG brush to apply the LG blush that I'll have for another 15 years. I think I bought this palette in 2010...

This... if I'm not mistaken... was ordered from QVC and is a clock purse. Sick with jealousy, aren't you? Now you know why I stopped carrying purses.
Yup, that's me all right--sick with jealousy. Or just sick.
Who's the sick one? I bought the thing!
Well then, who am I to disagree with that logic? You're right!
Precisely!

Just heard the news this morning. Robert Loggia. I remember watching T.H.E. Cat when I was a kid. What a career.
Godspeed.

Update on that Lumene BB serum I bought recently (to get free shipping -- bad habit! bad habit!):
A big thumbs up!
I've been using it under my Lumene CC cream and it's working well. I generally don't like layering (I am not an onion -- I am a human being!), but this doesn't feel heavy.
I've been posting on the Beauty Superstars thread and it occurred to me that we haven't listed our go-to, holy grail, must-have, necessity, every day basics, can't-function-without products in a long time.
What will you be using exclusively in 2016?

Christmas music - I like the classics mentioned a well, ex little drummer boy, etc and all the other songs mentioned so I wont repeat what everyone wrote.
Yesterday, I heard Last Christmas by Wham. Although, this isn't a "true" Christmas song, I like it. I will make a note of others. I listen mainly in the car so I a making a note of listening a bit more because it doesnt feel like Christmas at all and trying to find the "mood."

This weekend, I decluttered a bit more in all categories. I didnt even intend to but I culled more cookbooks, clothes, home stuff, mu etc, etc. It felt great. I didnt get to my mu brushes but I will.
JustBee, I agree about the mu brush maintenance. I think that is what I get tired of but I do love them for some reason. I dont even wear that much mu. I guess, I always think I am going to. LOL.
I also organized some of my kitchen appliances. I pulled out my mixer from the depths of my closet and put it where it is more easily accessible. I wish I had the counter space for it since it is quite heavy but I am determined to turn this thing on and where I have it should make it easier at least.
I wish I had exclusive products I am using in 2016 but I dont. Probably one of the reason I keep trying new stuff. But one product I will use everyday is Isomers Copper P. Why, I dont know, maybe because I have it but I do feel this has calmed my skin a bit. I really don't have problem skin but feel this makes it look better or something. In 2016, I will continue to use what I have and use things up. I am definitely setting up a strict budget for skincare. Not sure what that is yet but it will be an annual budget and not a monthly. Actually, I am doing that for all categories.
I am also going to setup some goals for myself in 2016, like learn something new, do something new, etc. I feel each year passes so quickly and I haven't accomplished a thing I had planned.
What are some of your goals in 2016?
