One last thing. Yesterday, I finished a tube of lip gloss. This lip gloss turned out to be a fantastic every day lip gloss. Perfect color. Not sticky. Not too shiny. Moisturizing. Just enough sheen to give a full look but not sparkly. Inexpensive. Maybelline hit a home run.

Now, I would like to take the time to thank Maybelline. Yes, thank you, Maybelline. Thank you for discontinuing a wonderful lip gloss. If it had not been discontinued, I would be buying another one. Instead, I will use a gloss from my stash.

Conquering my stash one gloss at a time with the help of bad executive decisions! Bravo!!

What lovely pictures! Thanks for posting them, just bee.

My youngest is not feeling well. It appears that he got into some trouble and has an injury on the back of the right side of his jaw, and fur is missing. The area is also swollen. I tried to examine it, but he turned away every time I came close to the wound. When the weather is warm, he stays outside at night. Last night, he was waiting by the door by 8 pm and stayed inside all night. This morning, he was sitting at the top of the stairs in a sluggish mood with no desire to go outside. I saw that his food had not been touched. Normally, when he stays in for the night, he will have a midnight snack.

He ate a bit around 10 am and then wanted out. A few minutes later, he wanted back inside. The swelling is not as bad today, and I am glad he has eaten something. I can tell he doesn't feel well. He has not slept since returning inside and has stayed by my side. If he would fall asleep, I could apply Polysporin to his boo boo. (I used to go to church with a vet pharma rep, and he said people antibiotic ointments are fine for animals.)

I have to take DD to the mall to find a swimsuit because she is going to a pool party on Saturday. DS will be here to look after our cat.

Sorry to hear junior is ailing. Was there a fight? Seems like cats are so susceptible to infection. When Better-half was pureeing boiling hot split pea soup in the blender and the blender jar slipped and splashed boiling hot split pea soup all over his face and chest, the ER gave him a tube of Bacitracin. That stuff works miracles.

I used to use Neosporin on the pets with the vet's blessings. But I think Polysporin's a good choice because it contains bacitracin.

ACK! Where the last few weeks go?!

April started off well, I finished a few items that were larger travel sized and my husband finished a body wash. The end of April wasn't to great since I cancelled my BB TSV, reinstated it, go the next shipment, but then I returned it. Should have just kept it cancelled! I did cancel it again, though.

I didn't get a complete room done, but we did buy a few bookshelves, which we desperately needed. Those got stained and just got moved to the bedroom. We also got the back porch cleaned and ready to use now that the weather is nicer. I also bought some hangers on sale for the children's closets. They are the thin, velvet type ones. My daughter needs bigger hangers now that she's getting older. I organized my jewelry box too. I didn't realize how many necklaces I had bought recently.

May is busy, so I'm not sure how much we'll get done, but with the in-laws visiting the next two weekends, we will need to get some cleaning done! Smiley Happy

Now to read all of the posts from the past two weeks. Keep up the good work!!

One word: Shame.

I have several pairs of old eyeglasses that I still haven't donated to the Lions Club.

I'm just going to have to get them together and put them in a conspicuous spot, so that when I leave the house there's a better chance that I'll leave with the glasses.

If they're not out of the house this month I'll have to declare myself a loser.

What issue will make you a loser if it isn't addressed soon?

LOL Just Bee. My issue is a donation box that has been sitting by my door for at least a month and a half now. I keep meaning to take it with me and its always, I will do it later. The only problem is, a few things found their way out of the box. aargh. I do better when things are taken right out. So, this week my goal is to identify a few more things to let go and then drop it off for donation. That and the old cell phones I keep meaning to drop off to the library. Of course, that issue is a few years old.

I love all the pictures. So sweet.

Hmm. My issue would have to be some bar stools that were passed on to us almost two months ago. They are not yet in use because I haven't cleared out their new home into a functional space! Old boxes needing to go out and counter clutter are stopping the kids from the adventure of balancing on bar stools to eat a snack (trust me they are eagerly looking forward to this adventure). Now that this issue is out there, I guess I better get a move on. Wish me luck!

My shame is all the half finished cleaning projects I have started. I am determined to get the my summer shirts and get the donations to the youth home this week. Like Nicole76 said, it out there, now I have to do it. I have some other projects I am determined to get done because I want them done before I do a big cleaning in the house. Nothing irritates me more than cleaning stuff I am going to donate. What a waste of energy and time.

Also, love all the pictures.
