Hello All: I am so happy that so much positivity is discussed on this thread. Congrats to all you and your accomplishments. That being said I had a negative experience with compacting. Around January I realized that I would need a new tube of fragrance free hand lotion/thick body lotion. I saw a tube at TJ Maxx but did not want it sitting in my house for several months. I saw a tube at Sephoria but was resolved to not panic. So twice I have been back to TJ's and you guessed it no lotion. Went to Sephoria and no lotion in the store. I have to purchase on-line. One of my goals was to end on-line purchases since I order to get free shipping and that contributed to the stash. So does anyone know of a great fragrance free really thick lotion? I use Cetaphil on my face and body, but it isn't thick enough for my dry hands. Thanks.

If I didn't already have fifty years' worth of lotions and creams in the house (that I don't use) I would invest in a tube of this stuff.

I brought a selection of creams and lotions to work for others to use (instead of letting them rot in my closet) and one of the nurses handed me a tube of his Gold Bond to try. There was a slight fragrance, but I saw immediate results and it wasn't greasy.

I'm terrible about using lotion or cream on my hands. I just brought a couple tubes of Curel cream to work and saw the same nurse use the Curel. The one in the white tube has a light orange fragrance. Curel makes a very good product as well.

The stuff I have is the lotion in cream form so I'm not sure that product (orange-scented) is still available. But Curel does offer an intensive cream in a tub that is fragrance-free as well as a tube product specific to hands and cuticles.

This is the orangey cream/lotion that I was referring to:

Cerave hand cream in a tube or cerave cream in the tub.

Two puppies? Oh, you definitely qualify. Why? Because they will destroy something you treasure and you won't take them to the pound. It won't even occur to you. You will look into their big brown eyes and say, "Oh, that first edition wasn't really all that important -- come to Mommy."

I hear ya! The last two I had were so destructive and then they ended up with diabetes and cancer. I spent a fortune to take care of them and could have sent a kid to Yale instead.

Our boy lost his vision two weeks after he was diagnosed with diabetes. We had new lenses implanted just so he would be able to see his sister. Better-half threw himself in front of a pit bull to protect them and ended up in the ER. He even quit his job and started a home business so he could be there to take care of them. I left my mother in the ER while I raced home to feed them and give them their meds.

If I had it to do over I wouldn't have done it any differently.

Thanks Willdob3! I am trying my best not to buy the tsv today. I have a large lotion and scrub for the two frangrances I would want, so I keep telling myself to go through those first. So far so good and DH took over the tv, so I can't watch the last show. I finished a small bottle of purity this week. Moor the ORC, all of the kids toys are organized, in clear boxes, or on bookshelves. DH also cleaned up the front and back yard today. I am counting the yard as a room since it needed a lot of work! So glad that is over now.

Why do we collect so many sample products? And why don't we use them? {#emotions_dlg.confused1}

Good question Bee. I love getting free samples. I remember those tiny little Avon lipsticks. Boy, I had a bunch of those. I kept them for years and years and then finally threw them out.

I'm trying to use the samples I have now. This morning, after shampooing, I used a Fekkai Shea Butter conditioner sample. It was nice, but I hated the scent. This conditioner smelled like a cheap perfumey science project. So that's one I won't be buying!

Stay strong everyone. April is almost half gone!
