ComPact 2013

I've seen a few references to continuing the ComPact that was started this year over into 2013 and I don't know how many people are interested, but I for one, would like to get on board again! I would like to declutter and simplify in all areas of my life, beauty included, in order to streamline, save money, and only have and use what I love. I joined last year and did find some fragrance items and haircare items that I love and would like to stick with but I'm still struggling with finding skincare and makeup items that I love so that I'm not tempted to try new products.

In the next couple of days I plan on doing a rough inventory of beauty items in categories such as bath and body products, skin care, make-up, just to see how many of each item I have. I won't worry about hair products, basic toiletries, etc. because I don't stockpile that sort of thing. My goals are to have more go out than comes in, shop my stash, use up what I have and not buy anything until I need it, (within reasonSmiley Happy and find products that I love and want to continue to repurchase so I'm not feeling like I'm constantly on the hunt to find something better.

Anyone care to join with me?
