Color question for Boi-ing users...

Hi ladies! I got the HSN special last week, and it came today. I ordered the lightest shade offered, but didn't know until later that there is a lighter one. The one that came with the kit (02 - light/medium) looks way too dark for me. My question is, does this go on lighter than it is in the pot, or should I send send the kit back (or sell the Boi-ing on the bay)?
