Color Me Foundation Applicator:thoughts?

I wish this could have been demonstrated on an older model like Helen, but I like the idea.

It looks fast and easy-and the maintenance of the sponges is low-but the replacement sponges are a little pricey.

I am wondering if you need to use more foundation though.  I couldn't tell with the liquid, and on the demo, they said they accidentally used too much powder foundation, but it looks as if this might use a lot.....any ideas? I am interested in your thoughts.

Thanks,

I read the reviews, while I think the concept is great, I'm going to pass.

@software, I was going to order it: for some reason, I thought it was totally new so I didn't look for reviews...Thanks for the heads up! I think I will pass on this....

It feels like a money pit to me.

He says the sponges will last about 2-3 weeks and 6 sponges are $24 before S&H and taxes. You would need about 17 sponges a year, assuming you get the 3 weeks out of each, so that's over $75 in sponges every year.

I'll keep my $7 Real Techniques sponge that I just wash and reuse for 3 months before replacing for roughly $28 a year, less when I can get them on sale. I have to do the patting myself, but I can manage that. Smiley Wink

I look at the BiQ steals everyday and when I saw this applicator it made me want to get it but after reading the reviews....not so much now.  I am more interested in the Michael Todd SonicBlend brush...a customer pick on HSN...washable and reusable plus you can buy different kinds of brush heads.
