@Suzeecat , I went to BBW today...tested 2 of their new musks...I was very turned off.  I didn't pick up any musk whatsoever.   One had a heavy coffee or Tonka bean smell, the other, I can't even describe...but nothing fresh or light, and no detection of airy sweet musk.

I guess I'll stick with Moonlight Path...only thing, it fades, no lasting scent, this is why I keep searching.

I used to love Kuumba oil in oriental musk...now even that, barely any scent at all.  I went back to Loves today to try it again...same thing...no fragrance to it.

Idk why...I tested others from Kuumba,  all very well scented.  I'm on the hunt ...still.   Hope you get your fragrance back...have you looked online BBW...sometimes they have it online only.

I use Laura Mercier almond coconut. I love all the Aura Mercier gourmand scents.

Lasting  perfumes, that do not fade, seem to be fleeting.

I just purchased a fragrance from Estée Lauder I like very much.  It's called Bronze Goddess Flora Verde.

Its not exclusively coconut, but definitely is a summer beach vibe with some coconut present.  I hope this helps.❤️

@cheriere  - How does the BG Flora Verde compare to the original Bronze Goddess?  I wore the original Bronze Goddess years ago and loved it.

To me, it just has a hint more green floral scent.  It's still very light.  I hope this helps.❤️

@goldensrbest   I would suggest looking into The Fragrance Shop in Carrboro, NC. They have a great selection of perfume oils, with detailed descriptions. Also, they have a line of bath and body products that can be scented with their perfume oils. I happen to use (and love) one of their coconut perfume oils; the one I use is called "Coconut Passion" and it is described as "coconut cream, drift wood and musk". It's a soft, creamy grown-up coconut scent and not sweet. It can be worn alone or in combination with another perfume oil. In my case I use "Coconut Passion" along with their "Very Vanilla" perfume oil (a true Vanilla, soft and not too sweet).

In addition to their own fragrances, they have great dupes of designer fragrances (especially the Chanel dupes). Customer Service is excellent, and the website is their company name. It is definitely worth checking out!

Look what I found.  I was reaching in the back of my perfume tray to find something to wear to bed the other night.  And this is what I pulled out.  I had no idea I still had a bottle.  This is the one I said people went bonkers over in the 90s.  It smells like cotton candy and vanilla.  I also used to layer it with EL's Beautiful.  I have about 1/2 a bottle Smiley Happy

Re: Coconut perfume

I wouldn't wear a coconut perfume.

But I do love Palmer's Coconut Daily Hydration lotion! The scent takes me on vacation and lasts for a good while then dissipates!
