Coconut Oil

I know there are some coconut oil fans here, so I am hoping someone can answer this question. Can you use coconut oil on the face without it being too greasy? I went to the beach & used ton of sunscreen everywhere except my face. When packing everything up forgot my sunscreen for the face so it is now fried. I do use Perricone's Blue Plasma & that has started the peeling process but I need something to get the moisture back in.
