Clinique Chubby Stick - pros and cons?

I love the 'strawberry' Clinique chubby stick - it honestly is my lips but better. Perfect color - looks like a child's naturally rosy lips. Very creamy and balmy - moisturizes. Lasts for hours and hours. Plus I like the skinny size of the stick. Easy to apply. I thought I'd found my HG. I wore it almost every day.... and that's the problem.

Even tho the pencil-shaped tube is over 3 inches long, the lipstick inside is only about an inch long. I used this about 4 days a week and it was gone - totally gone - in a month. For the price, it was a waste.

My Revlon lipstick typically lasts 6 months or more using it almost every day. For $7. Shouldn't the Clinique chubby stick last just as long? I'm disappointed.
