Clarisonic causing acne? could it be?

Hi, Ive had my clarisonic for awhile. I rarely use it. My daughter mostly uses it with the regular brush head. I just started using it again with the sensitive head. I have never had breakouts like I have now. It is all over my face very bad.

I have heard that it is 'just bringing out all the dirt' and it will eventually clear up. Is this true? I am not a dermatologist so I dont know if that is a true statement or not. All I know is I have not switched hair products or face cleanser but my face has acne all over now.

Can someone tell me if they have experienced this and does it clear up? I stopped using it because I can only attribute the acne to this new change in my routine. I really want to use it because I know its deep cleaning but not sure if this can 'stir' up and cause acne.
