I have a Clarisonic and don't use it all that often. It is ok but I personally think I get the same results with using a washcloth with my cleanser. If it broke, i would not repurchase.

I love the Clarisonic.

I will never be without a Clarisonic. I use mine several times per week. My face always feels cleaner and softer (before adding moisturizer after using the Clarisonic.

I love my Nutra Sonic (cheap version of Clarisonic.) Have had it for years. Love it!

In fact, I used it and hour ago. Gets my face super clean and smooth.

I bought the Mia a few years ago and wish I had bought it sooner....forgot to take it on a 2 week trip and could not believe how much different my skin looked and felt....and not in a good way! I have since bought one for three granddaughters and two daughters and they all love them.

replacement brushes are easy to find super cheap through Bradsdeals.com

I paid well under $100 for each one using code or coupon at skinstore.com

I am so glad I purchased the Clarisonic. My skin feels like smooth glass. It glows, it's so clean. My 15 yr old son used it last night, and woke up for school and used it without my prompting this morning! He feels it makes his (teenage skin) feel much cleaner than the cleansing pads he was using.

The Kate Somerville product is nice too!

I wouldn't purchase. I have never considered it, nor have I ever watched a full presentation.

If the main concept is that the brush cleans deeper inside the pore wall, you can achieve that simply by using warm water (in some things, I'm a bit old school) and like brushing your teeth, using enough time to thoroughly cleanse.

(Actually, I never rinse w/ cool. I rinse w/ warm, too, because whatever I put on my skin next, I want to go deeply in the epidermis as is possible.)

I don't use foundation, but still take time to cleanse thoroughly; my a.m. & p.m. cleansing agents are different.

Actually, the way the Clarisonic works is by using sonic pulses to push the water and cleansing agent into the pores - I always compare it to flushing out rain gutters with a pressure hose, although the Clarisonic is much gentler, of course. In any case, as previous posters have pointed out, you're not supposed to scrub with the brush, or press down with it. You hold it barely flush with your skin, and move it around in circles.

No product works for every one, but I sure wouldn't want to be without mine; it's made a huge difference in the smoothness and clarity of my skin. It's an excellent thing to have if you have oily areas and blackheads.
