Re: Clarisonic Replacement Recommendations

@World Traveler
I love the Clarisonic tool. When my died and QVC didn't sell it anymore, I looked on eBay. Found one a few years ago for about $50. They also had replacement heads for Clarisonic. I have used the official Clarisonic replacement heads and other no name brands that fit Clarisonic and I can't tell the difference between them. Good luck on your search!

Re: Clarisonic Replacement Recommendations

@Rooney  I don't think I have mine anymore; at least I can't find it. It may have disappeared during the move from one state to another three years ago. But when I was using it religiously, the Ulta store near me didn't carry them anymore nor the brush heads and said the product wasn't coming back, so I stopped using it.

Absolutely LOVE the color of one of the Michael Todd version on Amazon now, but it is $139 while the other colors are around $43. What gives with the black/white one, below, being so expensive? WOW! But it does match the colors in my bathroom and shower.

Re: Clarisonic Replacement Recommendations

@vegan4ever  Thanks for the warning. I had not heard of fire hazards with the cleansing tool. And I did read the negative reviews which seemed to be primarily about the tool not lasting long, breaking down.

I never had that problem with my Clarisonic, however, it does give me pause. I had two over the time I used that brand; one was the regular size and the other was the smaller Mia 2. Both were really good for me. But I don't like the lower ratings of this brand on Amazon.

@Lisa Y  Thanks! Good 'ole eBay! ha!

I noticed the same thing you did, that the official Clarisonic replacement heads are no better than the off-brand heads. I don't recall which brand I used when the Clarisonic brushes were no longer available where I shopped, but they worked just fine. The main thing was that they not compromise the cleansing tool itself when attached.

Re: Clarisonic Replacement Recommendations

@World Traveler - In my previous experience with clarisonic before the company sold out never experienced any issues. Took a chance ordered from Amazon last week never had a chance to use while charging entire unit was hot luckily I wokeup from napping went into the bathroom noticed something wasn't right with handles light wasn't blinking touching it immediately couldn't believe it was extremely hot also charger part. You can imagine talk about scary after unplugged tried turning on nothing not that I would have used it so afterwards Amazon cs refunded entire amount told me hazardous returning then threw it away. The seller never reached out to me. Made sure to leave reviews on seller inadequate response also for customers to know there's a possibility for electrical issues like starting fires.

I still use the very last Clarisonic Mia that was on air as a TSV --I think in 2017. But when I heard that they were going out of business--I scooped up many, many extra brush heads. I still have at least 2-3 years worth in their boxes. I use it only once in the a.m. so those brushes last a long time. Had heard Michael Todds brushes will fit----I'm not a fan of the silicone ones either--don't think they work as well as the brush type.

I buy new brush heads off ebay. They work just fine.
